Our organisation offers budgeting, driver training, translation services, advocacy, family support and general assistance as well as professional development courses for professionals working with ethnic families. Our organisation is run by volunteers and we appreciate all the help we can get. No request is too small or too big when it comes to our clients.

Waikato Ethnic Family Services Trust is an organisation that helps ethnic families (refugees and immigrants) in the Waikato, settle into New Zealand society. Our services include, but are not limited to advocacy, budgeting, support, translation services and general assistance among others. Our services are offered free of charge and the organisation is wholly run by volunteer staff.

We also offer professional development courses for healthcare / social workers to educate on how to approach matters of cultural and traditional ethnic practices in their interaction with ethnic clients. The demand for our services is increasing and a need for additional funding has risen.
