Wellington After-Care Association Inc. (now trading as Evaro) is one of the oldest charities in Wellington, providing services for adults with intellectual disabilities and mental health consumers for more than 90 years. We have three services in the Wellington region supporting people with disabilities. 1. Evaro, a day service focusing on life-skills and community participation. 2. Evaro Employment, a supported employment service working with individuals to gain and maintain paid employment in the mainstream workforce; and 3. Evaro Transition which supports school leavers to transition from school to adulthood services and programmes.
