Wellington Rape Crisis provides free counselling, support and information for survivors of rape and sexual abuse, their families, friends and whanau. We are also the lead agency in the Sexual Abuse Prevention Network, providing sexual violence primary prevention programmes to young people, hospitality staff and other community members in the our region.

Wellington Rape Crisis Inc (WRC) was established in 1977 by a small group of women who identified, & responded to, a community need by creating a support network for women survivors of rape and sexual abuse. 35 years on WRC continue to provide essential services.
