The Whakatane SPCA is a non profit organisation. We rely entirely on donations, fund raising and our fantastic team of volunteers to care for abandoned and abused animals until they find their forever homes. We run desexing campaigns and work with the community to ensure animals are cared for.

Whakatane SPCA has been caring for abandoned and stray animals since 1954. We are there for our community 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We run desexing campaigns to help reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies. We do what we can to help those struggling with their pets.
