Whangārei CARE Centre is a community-based charity supporting individuals and whānau to build safer, more stable lives.

We provide free, confidential budgeting advice to help people regain control of their finances, reduce stress, and move toward long-term financial wellbeing.

Alongside budgeting support, we also offer professional counselling services and Seniors support, walking alongside people through life’s challenges with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Every day, our team meets people where they are — offering practical tools, emotional support, and encouragement when it’s needed most. Donations made through Givealittle help ensure our services remain accessible to those in our community who need them.

$100 provides a counselling session for a child or adult experiencing anxiety or trauma

$100 covers emergency assistance (food vouchers, petrol) for a family in crisis

$150 supports a senior's connection group for a month

$250 funds 2 sessions of financial mentoring services for families getting back on track

$500 provides comprehensive support for a family
