Free Ride is a charity based in Lower Hutt, New Zealand set up to increase bike riding for transportation, recreation and fitness. We operate a membership programme where anyone can sign up to, to get access to free and discounted services to reduce barriers to cycling. Members can get access to free bikes, free bike fix ups, tools and training to fix bikes, bikes skills and safety gear and a community of cyclists enjoying our cycle friendly city.

Free Ride is a charitable trust that works to create equity in cycling. We operate a workshop where we fix and give away donated bikes, run bike mechanic classes and operate a bike library.
