Supporting Whānau Across Aotearoa for Over 50 Years
For more than 50 years, Pregnancy Help has supported whānau throughout Aotearoa with free practical assistance, care, and connection during pregnancy and early childhood.
We believe every whānau deserves to feel supported — regardless of background, income, or circumstances. There is no referral criteria, no eligibility threshold, and no judgement. Anyone caring for tamariki can access our services.
Our volunteers provide support with care, compassion, dignity, and confidentiality, helping ensure whānau have access to the essentials they need during one of life’s most important stages.
Practical support may include:
• Clothing for pēpi and tamariki
• Nappies and essential care items
• Baby equipment and bedding
• Maternity items
• Information and connection to community services
• Referrals to appropriate support organisations
We know no single organisation can do this work alone. That is why we collaborate closely with trusted community partners— helping whānau access the right support, at the right time.
Pregnancy Help currently supports communities through branches and outreach services in:
• Auckland
• Taranaki
• Hastings and Napier
• Central Hawke’s Bay
• Taupō
• Tūrangi
• Wellington
• Dunedin
Every donation helps ensure more whānau across Aotearoa can access practical support, connection, and care when they need it most.
Together, we can help ensure no whānau faces pregnancy or parenthood alone.
Pregnancy Help provides information and practical support to all members of the community to support them during pregnancy and parenthood.
