Youthline Otago

Youthline Otago is a Dunedin based Not-For-Profit organisation that is committed to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of rangatahi in our community. Our objective is to provide rangatahi with support, knowledge, and resources to empower them to develop resilience and skills to support their own mental health and wellbeing, and that of their peers. We believe that through investing in the wellbeing of our young people, we can create a stronger and more resilient future for them and our community.

We provide the Youthline Helpline service (along with other Youthline organisations throughout Aotearoa), provide affordable and accessible face to face counselling, community education, and volunteer development.

Youthline Otago is a financially and legally independent entity, receiving no funding from Youthline Auckland, however, we strive to grow and strengthen our services in a very challenging funding environment, and do rely entirely upon local community funding and generous donations.
