YouthZone Rock Solid clubs in Northland make a difference by running weekly club nights based around issues relevant to what the young people are facing at home, school and around friends. We also run camps like ontheroad camp and Breakaway Summer camp which helps us gain more of a relationship with our youth. Also we run holiday programmes & events.

Rock Solid was originally set up in 1992 under Youth for Christ Northland Inc. In 2011 Youth Zone Northland Trust was set up as a charitable trust and Northland Rock Solid Clubs were now under its own local board. Adults that attended Rock Solid when they were young are now sending their own kids along. It makes a positive difference.

Update for 10/04/2014  10 April 2014

Rock Solid Northland's annual ontheroad camp starts 28th April to the 2nd May we want to take 40 kids and 15 helpers all around Northland for this unique camp where we travel from place to place on a road trip that take us to the very top of NZ. The camp costs everyone $150 each and we have had a grant that covers 40 campers at $90 on the condition we don't charge the campers. So we have a shortfall of $3750 so we can cover campers and also subsidise our volunteer leaders. We would love your help in making this dream possible to make this camp affordable to families. Need donations in before 27th April 2014.
