Campaigns Arts In Memory

An art installation reflecting on the loss of lives, livelihood and living in our city following the earthquake of 22nd February 2011

The individuality of each chair pays tribute to the uniqueness of each person represented.

This is a proposal to make this installation permanent.

The final site has not been agreed yet.

Use of Funds:

Funds will to be used to have 185 different chairs cast in aluminium and powder coated white to withstand the elements.

These will then be set on a concrete base to ensure they do not blow away, get stolen etc.
