Bex for First Female All Black Coach

After taking on coaching rugby this year as a hobby and to help my son adjust to a new sport with new people I have realised that not only do I have a passion for this sport, in both coaching and developing players, but I also have a talent for it.

For years I have not known what I want to do when I grow up. Now although I still don't feel all that grown up at times, I know for sure what my goals are. My ultimate long term goal is to become the first female All Blacks Coach and along the way I have some short term goals that will all help to set me up for my ultimate goal.

Some of my goals include:

Getting my coaching qualifications

Getting a job in either junior or women's development

Paving a pathway for those women that would like to be more involved in rugby but are not sure how, or are too afraid to.

This page is being setup to take one of the first steps for this, and that is to complete a Club Development Coaches Course through IRANZ. I hope to raise the funds in order to attend the course they have available in November, Your donation will not be deducted unless the full amount is raised. If I don't manage to raise the amount by my target date I will be trying to fundraise again before the next course date whenever that may be.
