The mission is to:
- Provide a facility that will accommodate a maximum of 45 people
- Provide an outdoor educational facility that will provide for all future generations.
- Develop and enhance the current educational facility to make it accessible for the wider community
to further their ability to take advantage of the unique benefits of an outdoor educational facility.
This includes but is not limited to educational institutes, church/community groups and corporate
team building programs.
- Provide fully functional equipment to ensure costs are kept to a minimum for all organisations to
utilise while on site. This includes but is not limited to, kayaks, ropes for tramping equipment,
wetsuits, barbeque, tents, and life jackets to name a few.
- Provide a fully equipped outdoor educational facility that will ensure financial stability while
providing the best quality educational facility to a wide demographic area.
- Utilise what the surrounding environment has to offer to encourage the confidence and inner
growth of all who use this facility.
About us
The Glenorchy Educational Charitable Trust was established to provide an outdoor educational facility that will provide for all future generations.
Use of funds
To raise the finance necessary to build an extension to the current educational facility situated at Glenorchy. To ensure that the facility is fully equipped with the furnishings and outdoor education equipment required to enhance the current facility.
