The Whangarei Team is clocking up the kms in March for Craigs 50km A Day Challenge 2026

Participating in Craigs 50km A Day For the Month of March, the Craigs Investment Partners Whangarei Team will to complete a combined total of 50km a day of running, cycling, gym activities, swimming etc to raise funds for and awareness about the invaluable work that the Northland Rescue Helicopter Team do.

As Te Tai Tokerau locals, we all know the isolation challenges we face and are deeply grateful for the essential service that the Rescue Helicopter provides.

We smashed our goal - thanks to YOU! 9 April 2026

When we started our fundraising for Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) 2026 50Ks a Day Challenge, we thought we'd LOVE to collect $2,500 in donations for the Northland Rescue Helicopter (aka NEST). With Craigs matching dollar-for-dollar the first $25,000 of donations Nationwide, we thought being able to contribute around $5,000 to NEST would be a pretty great effort. You can imagine our elation then, when fundraising finished and we had raised $8,940 BEFORE any extra contributions from CIP!

We wanted to take this opportunity to share our utmost gratitude to you for your generous donations to our fundraising efforts this year. Together with Craigs, our contribution will be closer to $15,000 towards Northern Rescue Helicopters and we are beyond grateful that you chose to support our cause!!

Yes, we as a team completed over 2,100 kms of exercise for the month of March; and

Yes, we averaged close to 69km per day, smashing through the 50km target.

But without your kind and considered contribution to this worthy cause, it would have all been for nothing, so please accept our humble thanks for making our fundraising dream come true and then exceeding that mark, beyond what we thought was possible.

We'll be back at it again in March next year, and we'd love you join us for the ride then too, but until then, every time you see the Rescue Helicopter overhead you can be proud to have contributed to keeping this essential Northland Service in the skies.
