Participating in the ASB Auckland Half Marathon to run for Te Kiwi Maia Charity.

Auckland

The Auckland Half Marathon will see a group of front line responders - including Police officers, take on the run in full uniform! Body armour and all.

We will run to raise awareness around the mental health of frontline responders. Especially for our brothers and sisters in blue - who suffer psychological and physical trauma from the things we see and the things we do when we put on this uniform.

With this, we will be raising money for Te Kiwi Maia. A charity set up to provide support (rehabilitation, recovery and respite) to our people, who - as a result of their role in safeguarding and caring for New Zealanders - have suffered physical or psychological injuries.

We are so grateful for the work Te Kiwi Maia do for our service men and women. We want to support them by raising money as part of our participation in the Auckland Half Marathon.
