Thank you to everyone who saw our plea for help and responded with kindness, aroha, and putea! $750 on behalf of the Kotahi Queens supporters will go into the Community Builders NZ Trust main fundraiser for Sustain 2000 Campaign. This helps to continue serving the community through activations, Kai parcels, youth empowerment, safer cycling initiatives and community rides, celebrating the diverse cultures in our hood and so much more!
It’s also bitter sweet as a final contribution on my behalf, as a new pathway has opened and I will be leaving The OKV in the new year to pursue a career in journalism. It’s my goal to return and report on all the amazing mahi of my team and others making a positive impact in South Auckland.
