Participating in Joyride '26

Nationwide

Thames Baptist Joyride are participating in Joyride '26. We are riding the Hauraki Rail Trial from Thames to Hikutaia and back with lunch at Hikutaia on Shane and Bronwyn's farm. We are all ages and all stages of life.

Joyya is based in Kolkata, India, working in communities impacted by extreme poverty and modern-day slavery. It's transformative. Joyya gives people a spark - skills for good jobs, good support, good relationships - then backs them as they use that spark to change things for themselves, their families, and their neighbourhoods.

Joyride is Joyya's annual fundraising challenge. Organisations are invited to take on a challenge to raise money through sporting activities. Thames Baptist has chosen to cycle the Hauraki Rail Trail together.
