    HEllo all. DESTINY is doing well. She has still got a tumour in her chest/spine area. Chemo was stopped in december because it was no longer working. We arr unable to achieve a safe removal of the tumour that would benifit Destiny.. so surgury is.not an option. Radiation is also not an option, because it could potentially ben her spine. We are on a high does vitiman a drug that is suposed to mature the remaining cells in her tumour qnd then with.hope it will stop growing. We wont know if it working till next mri in april. This medicine is 2 weeks on 2 weeks off for 6 months. It peels off all the skin on her body and cracks her lips. Not nice stuff. We hoping it benifits Destiny.   • Chemo Week

    We are currently in choc, destiny started her 2nd cycle of chemo on Tuesday. She has 5 days of chemo's this week, ending on Saturday. We have had to stay in the whole time getting leave to RMH for a few hours a day. Unfortunately we wont make leave today... all destiny's counts have dropped early and destiny's been spiking temperatures all day and night and is due for a blood transfusion and antibiotics after today's chemotherapy.
