Note from Doug's family
24 November 2015Thank you to everyone who is supporting Doug. Now that he is physically so much better we hope his rehab proper will start very soon (this week we hope) and we will have an idea of how your very generous donations can be best used to aid this. The visits from the London contingent really are boosting his recovery and the photos, music and messages from everyone in New Zealand keep Doug well entertained. The many letters and cards have also been a great resource for us to use to reinforce Doug’s memory. We can’t say how much we appreciate all the support Adrienne and Doreen have had here in London and the help Rick has had in NZ. Special thanks must go to Dave and Dave (sounds like a comedy duo!) who have gone above and beyond anything that could have been asked of them to rally support.
