Our page has been set up to enable you to HELP US HELP Ukraine and other trouble spots around the World. Thanks for your support. Arohanui
Karori, Wellington
I am going to walk New Zealand in the coming months, (planning start date is 25 July, ending around Labour Weekend). This journey by road will cover around 2,300km and I plan to complete a minimum of 30km, six days a week with a rest day each Friday. We're starting on Stewart Island and setting off from Bluff for Cape Reinga in a camper van, with a small crew, including my Sister Cathy from NZ Police and some veterans who want to help out.
As part of the build up and to raise funds to help us fund the walk, THIS GIVEALITTLE is set up to recieve donations of sponsorship for the walk. Cathy, I and the team thank everyone who donates to this account which will enable us to do the Walk NZ July to November.
A WALK IN THE PARK
Come along and support us Friday 27th May at 1400pm to Saturday 28th May at 1400pm as I attempt to walk 100km in 24 hours on 'A Walk in the Park', at Karori Park, Karori, Wellington. You are welcome to join me on a couple of laps of the park or to simply help keep us company.
If you would like to donate directly to help Ukraine and other countries in dire need, please use our MSF donations page here:
Thanks very much everyone. Every dollar will help to support someone in dire need. Arohanui. Tony, Cathy and the Walk Team. xo
I have been in traiing for two months already and I do not have the time to raise the funds I need to cover the walk. We need a Camper Van, Clothing and equipment for walking in Winter, food, water, first aid and for sundries such as gas, fuel.
YOU ARE ALL BLOODY AWESOME!!! 20 November 2022
We cannot thank you enough for your generous sponsorship of the walk and would love to leap out there and give everyone of you a BIG HUG.
You helped to make it happen and MSF have already received nearly NZ$40,000 in donations.
Here we are sailing back into Wellington this morning after nearly three months on the road. It's great to be home.
I will be extending the MSF page to 31 December as I have given up on our one million dollar target yet. But without you guys we wouldn't have got to where we are now so Tenakoe. THANK YOU. Please accept our heartfelt cheers and best wishes for a wonderful Christmas and an amazing and powerful 2023.
