We cannot thank you enough for your generous sponsorship of the walk and would love to leap out there and give everyone of you a BIG HUG.

You helped to make it happen and MSF have already received nearly NZ$40,000 in donations.

Here we are sailing back into Wellington this morning after nearly three months on the road. It's great to be home.

I will be extending the MSF page to 31 December as I have given up on our one million dollar target yet. But without you guys we wouldn't have got to where we are now so Tenakoe. THANK YOU. Please accept our heartfelt cheers and best wishes for a wonderful Christmas and an amazing and powerful 2023.

Tony, Carmelle, Cathy, Charlie, Vic, Martin, Kevin, Andy, Shirley, Dereck and all our supporters. Arohanui. xoxoxoxo www.walknz4msf.com

  • TWO WEEKS TO DECISION TIME

Morena to all of my wonderful supporters. Sadly, though I am still putting in the miles and hoping each and every day, the donations have stopped and now the walk is at risk of not happening. Already six months into my prep and having completed the 100km challenge, we have had only one media success though MSF promised to cover this for us. I believe the World situation with Covid and Putin's war are having a massive impact on people's motivation and ability to help. I am speaking at a couple of events to raise further awareness and hope we will get the support we need to be able to do the walk by the 15th of July when a decision has to be made whether or not we proceed. {lease be assured if the walk is cancelled, all your funds in support of the walk will be oaid directly to MSF meaning that at least they would recieve around $4,000 to help them out.

Please spread the word if you can and see what we can achieve together. Remember the website for sponsors and donators is www.walknz4msf.com

Thank you everyone and take care. I will keep you all updated.

  • FIRST MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

      30 May 2022

Hi everyone. We cracked it. A Walk in the Park is complete as I managed, with the amazing support from my team to walk 100km in 23 hours. The night was clear skies and 5 degrees temp which was great for walking. It was as the sun came up and the temperature rose that I hit the wall. My feet were in agony and I now have the blisters that come with this. My body simply felt exhausted and I still had 35km to go. Again, my team, including my amazing sister Cathy, who walked 45km with me, kept up their support and I got through. Happy to be recovering now and looking forward to the Walk NZ phase in July. Thanks to you all for your donations and ongoing support. We are going to crack this. Arohanui Tony xoxo
