Well it will be 4 weeks tomorrow since Tali's stroke. A stroke that was so life threatening I was told there was about 15% percent of survival and that the best case scenario was that he would still be here but would never walk or talk again...but Tali has defied the odds and continues to do so each day. In the small time of 4 weeks he has not only survived, he has spoken, sung and just yesterday took his first steps on his own. I am amazed daily at his determination and strength. And despite the horrible situation he has continued to keep a smile on his face. There are no right words that can explain the love I have for this man and how extremely proud I am and honoured to be apart of his life and help him through his dark days. This unfortunate incident has it's silver lining... I have met a lot of Tali's family over the past weeks who have been incredibly supportive to not only tali but myself and the Kids as well which we appreciate greatly as well as the support we have received from my side of the family and our friends has been amazing too and I'm so grateful and give you all our biggest thanks. It's gonna be a long road but Tali will continue to defy the odds and we will have him back home in no time!!! Love you all and again Thank you!

From Brooke: I asked Tali this morning if he wants my mum to bring the kids up to squeeze my hand and he did so this guy and Hailey have been in to visit. Now I know these kids are his medicine... I've never seen him respond like he had to these two. He was actually able to kiss them both and he was patting the bed for me to sit Slater down with him while tears streamed down his face. Was an amazing moment. Both son and dad are exhausted now.

A lot of improvement seen in the last 24 hours. Swelling to his face has gone down alot. Moving to a ward today and there's been talk about rehabilitation and moving forward. So over all so far Talis looking good and doing really well.
