Battling metastatic breast cancer, Lucy is lucky to be selected for a promising drug trial in Sydney. Help keep her there as long as needed
Nationwide
Our lovely sister Lucy has spent months undergoing surgery and chemotherapy battling metastatic breast cancer.
Lucy's courage, awesome sense of humour and positive attitude never cease to amaze us all.
She is very lucky to have been accepted to participate in a world-wide drug trial (Parp inhibitor) that is potentially a very positive treatment for women like Lucy.
The Sydney trial will last for up to 6 months.
This is a huge sacrifice for Lucy, missing precious time at home with Dean and their 3 teenage children, but she is running out of options.
We are hoping to raise funds to keep Lucy in Sydney on the drug trial for as long as is necessary, helping to cover the significant expenses involved for her family.
Every dollar donated goes directly to Lucy's cause.
Lucy moved to Sydney 2 weeks ago to begin the trial, which is carried out in conjunction with a further course of chemotherapy.
We all wish Lucy the very best during her time away in Sydney, and know her positive outlook and determination, plus the ongoing support from everyone will be her greatest asset
Our sister Lucy has been accepted to participate in a trial of a promising drug for metastatic breast cancer, and will be based in Sydney for up to 6 months while on the trial. We are fundraising to keep Lucy in Sydney for as long as is necessary.

Lucy is excited to be flying home for a few days, to catch up with family and friends, and go to the Sole Mio concert in Hamilton on Friday night.
She continues to do well on her treatment in Sydney
