Success! The rhino walk was really fun with the motivated Tusk and Horn Wildlife Trust team. At the event I met many lovely people of all ages, who now know (possibly more than they ever wanted to) about rhino conservation.

The only major glitch was the fundraising website only opened after the walk was done! So now for some high spirited, backwards, fund raising! If you feel inclined to donate to an amazing elephant and rhino saving cause, go ahead and follow that urge! I guarantee it'll make you feel good! The site will be open for donations for another week.

Big thank you to all the fantastic people who have kindly donated! I can already see it turning into lovely new medical supplies and life-saving treatments for rhinos, what a buzz!

A bounding thank you to Tom, Sarah and Danielle for being a stellar support team! Cheering me on as I charged across the finish line and for not laughing too hard in the 10 meters that followed. Turns out rhino horns and tents are a little tricky to navigate. I recommend to anyone doing their victory march in a rhino head, be sure to duck as you enter the tent entrance. :)

The team did great. You can't help but look with awe at anyone who can run a half marathon in a giant rhino or elephant suit! I was more likely to inspire bemusement, but every fundraising step was worth it!. So joint us in stamping out poaching! Click the give a little link and make a donation :)
