Saint Clair Vineyard Half Marathon 12th May

We are a small trust trying to help people affected by metabolic disease to live the best quality of life they can.

Nationwide

So its that time where I am meant to be fit and active in the name of fundraising... but I'm less fit, fatter and so doing a shorter distance. This time it is a half marathon around the St Claire Vineyard in Blenheim. If you could spare a $5 note and donate - that would be awesome.

Over the last year Ease the Squeeze has given over $4000 of supermarket vouchers, assisted with the purchase of suitable footware, contributed to medical foods and funeral grants among other things. None of this would be possible without your support.

This half might be right up my alley though - apparently there is wine tasting along the way!!! I will post pics as I go!

About us

Ease the Squeeze is a trust set up by the metabolic community to support individuals and families meet the everyday needs which, due to their diseases, they struggle to cover.

Often unable to work, due to the illness or the need to care for an unwell child, what was once manageable - is no longer manageable. Bills pile up, the healthy food options are no longer affordable and the quality of life deteriorates.

Use of funds

We aim to help by contributing to the essentials that can't be managed by the family's and patients - whether it be supermarket vouchers, petrol vouchers, contributions to pharmaceuticals, or funeral costs.
