Raising money for the Northland Rescue Helicopter that helped save my life when I had my Heart Attack and Cardiac Arrest
Northland
I am wanting to raise funds for the Northland Rescue Helicopter that got me to the Hospital so fast for the immediate help I needed to keep me alive on the day. This happened whilst I was running the Kerikeri 1/2 Marathon last November the 19th. (that's me doing the run in my photo). I had a Heart Attack and Cardiac Arrest at around 19km. With the help of the friends I was running with, who performed CPR and also a couple of other runners who stopped to assist them and along with the help of the Northland Emergency Services I am able to continue with my passion for running. On the day I had a stent put in, then found out the best option for me was to have a double bypass operation, which I had a week before Christmas. I am now getting back into running and have decided to run the Kerikeri 1/2 marathon this year to finish and whilst doing so trying to raise funds for the Northland Rescue Helicopter. I appreciate any help with my fundraising. Thanks so much Nigel Baker.
With this run, I am wanting to be involved with fundraising for the Northland Emergency Services Trust because they are a much needed service.

Just letting everybody know I made it through the run with no issues this time. Good to finish this year.
I'd like to thank everybody that has donated to my page, greatly appreciated.
Enough running for awhile, back to fishing now.
thanks Nigel
