100km for the Paekakariki Surf Lifeguards to raise money for our new surf club.
Wellington
Kia Ora,
My name is Florrie and I am raising money to go towards our new surf club. I am completing 100km in 30 days, this will be completed with swimming, running, paddling both ski and board and erging. I started on the 21st of December and finishing on the 29th of January, (I only work mon-fri so its only 5 days a week = 30 days).
Paekakariki Surf club has been a very influential part of the Paekakariki and surrounding community for 107 years and has given me many opportunities such as being able to go to the UK and do a season for the RNLI which is one of the biggest life saving organisations in the world. This new surf club will give both the community and lifeguards an extra helping hand in their development. It will also allow us Lifeguards at Paekakariki to provide a higher quality service and will have better to facilities which allow us to be better equipped for the varying conditions on the beach.
We are hoping to have our new surf club ready for 2022. Any donation you can make is beyond appreciated and will definitely make a huge difference to us at the Paekakariki Surf Lifeguards. Stay safe this summer, enjoy the sun and water and if you're ever in Paekakariki pop down and say hi to our friendly lifeguards who are patrolling 11am-6pm mon-fri and 12-6 sat-sun.
Any question feel free to ask!
See you at the beach,
Florrie :))))
