Kiaora everyone.
UPDATE - 219/06/2021
RAWIRI HAS HAD ALL HIS BARBER GEAR RETURNED THIS WEEKEND.
A VERY CONCERNED AND DISAPPOINTED FATHER SAW RAWIRI'S POST ON FACEBOOK AND THEN SAW ALL THE BARBER GEAR IN HIS TEENAGE SONS BEDROOM SO WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO GET ALL THE GEAR SMARTLY BACK TO MY SON. AFTER CHECKING IT ALL OVER WE CAN CONFIRM IT'S ALL THERE AND ALL IN WORKING ORDER. THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU.
My name is Diana Sergeant.
Last night 12th June 2021 my son Rawiri (18yrs old) had his car broken into.
Unfortunately Rawiri did not have insurance
Rawiri has worked as a barber in Ruakaka and Whangarei since he was 16years old.
He has been working 6 days a week for the past 2 years, even going out of the workplace in his own time into homes where people were unable to get to the barber shop (eg: solo mums, parents who had hard times getting their children to the barber shop, elderly folk and people on home detention).
He owned his own gear which he worked hard for and very recently purchased some very rare and expensive clippers, briefcase, scissors and groomers.
As of last month Rawiri wanted to try something different so he has been working in building and scaffolding and doing haircuts in his spare time.
Lastnight Rawiris car was broken into, the ignition was ripped into and all his barber gear was stolen. All done while his car was in the driveway.
Rawiri saved up to buy his own car to get to work.
He works hard, has never been on a benefit or had his hand out. Not only has his car been wrecked which was his only means of transport to work but also his clippers and barber gear stolen so he has no way to make money when not at work.
Rawiri and his girlfriend Jaz are expecting their first child in 4 months and so this is an extreme setback for them. He is a provider and needs a car and his barber gear to do this.
We kindly ask for any help possible and thank you all greatly for any generosity shared.
My name is Diana Sergeant, I am Rawiris mum.
A cheap car to get to work and to purchase barber clippers, scissors, groomer and briefcase.
Barber gear has been returned. 24 June 2021
A very concerned and disappointed Father saw Rawiri's post on Facebook and then saw all the barber gear in his teenage sons bedroom so went out of his way to get all the gear smartly back to my son. After checking it all over we can confirm it's all there and all in working order. Thank you thank you thank you.
