Hi, I am Santana Chapman of New Zealand who is born profoundly deaf on both ears. I have qualified and the only NZ Deaf Representative in

Nationwide

Unfortunately there is no Government funding to assist me with attending these games.

It will greatly benefit my personal development, and build my self confidence, as well as offer valuable experience to launch my international swimming career.

The funds raised through the project will be used for travel and accommodation for myself and my coach.

Hi Santana! Saw you on TV this morning, I wish I could swim like that!! You've done the hard work, now you just have to go into the world as a Kiwi, hold your head up high, and represent us for all you're worth! Your coach thinks you're up for it, your family do, and we do too. You go girl! We'll be cheering for you bigtime here in Christchurch.
