I love my Maui Dolphin t-shirt from Mr. Vintage in Sandringham, so I rang the shop and asked if they'd donate a t-shirt so I could sell it at the movie fundraiser we're holding on 6 Sept. Best news ever! I was blown away when Mike Hosking at NewstalkZB rang me yesterday to say that the ASB was going to pay for me and Mum to travel to San Francisco!! That's a huge chunk of my fundraising done - just like that. I don't think I can ever express just what that means to me. To have the opportunity to tell the people at the conference about Maui Dolphin is now a reality. Thank you ASB & NewstalkZB. Our tickets are booked! San Francisco here we come.
I spoke to the people at AWADS and they have offered me two Whale and Dolphin Safari tickets for me to raffle at a movie evening I'm holding on Sun 6 September. Go AWADS! This will really help selling tickets to the event.
