Qualifying to race in Hangzhou, China is a huge achievement and valuable experience in furthering my swimming career.

I have been selected to represent New Zealand at the 2018 FINA World Short Course Swimming Championships that were announced after qualifying at the 2018 New Zealand Short Course Championships.

FINA World Short Course Championships take place over 5 days the 11-16th of December 2018 in Hangzhou China. The total cost for the trip is $5300.

I began competitive swimming when I was 11 and qualified to race in the Victorian age group champs by the time I was 14. I now train 10 times a week at the New Zealand High Performace Center with 3 gyms a week as well. I am completely dedicated and motivated towards swimming and can't wait to prove myself on the world stage.

Use of funds

This competition is a user pays event so any support is greatly appreciated to help get me over to China. The funding will go towards the competition which costs $5300.
