BLIND CRICKET 2018 NZ A TEAM - Help us take on the Aussie States 1 at a time

  • ANNOUNCING THE 2018 NZ A CAPTAINCY TEAM

      17 July 2018

With the announcement of the NZ A team it was also advised that at the conclusion of the most recent training camp we would make decision on the NZ A Blind Cricket Captain and Vice Captain.

After some discussion it was felt that it would be more appropriate to appoint a Captaincy Team.

The Captaincy Team is made up of 3 players who will share the roles of Captain and Vice Captain with at least 2 of the 3 Captaincy Team members named in the starting side of each game. The Captain and Vice will be appointed each game as required.

With this in mind, we are please to advise that Matt Carter, Deacan Dunn and Marquele McCaskill have been appointed to the NZ A Blind Cricket Captaincy Team.

Congratulations to these three players who have a range of skill, knowledge and experience between them.
