Supporting mental health & wellbeing for men & their families in North Canterbury. Proceeds to Community Wellbeing North Canterbury Trust.
Rangiora, Canterbury
In a small North Canterbury community there’s a place that offers solace and support to those in need - Community Wellbeing North Canterbury Trust. Providing a safe space for individuals struggling with mental health issues, offering support and resources to help them on their journey to recovery.
But the Trust needs funds to continue its important work. That's where the team at Tom's Chop Shop comes in. Dedicating 24 hours to cutting hair non-stop, with all proceeds going to Community Wellbeing.
As the barbers work tirelessly through the night, they are not just cutting hair - they are cutting through the stigma surrounding mental health. Especially mental health for men. They are raising awareness and encouraging others to donate to this important cause.
So, if you want to make a difference in the lives of those struggling with mental health issues, consider sponsoring our barbers. All proceeds will go to Community Wellbeing North Canterbury Trust. All of Community Wellbeing's services are free. Your contribution could help save a life and bring hope to those in need.
Tom’s Chop Shop 24 hour charity cut-a-thon is on from 9.00am Saturday 21st September to 9am Sunday 22nd September 2024, during Mental Health Awareness Week.
The four barbers undertaking the challenge are Charlie, Regan, Joel and me, Tom, the owner of Tom’s Chop Shop.
Please get behind us. Get behind our community. And support the mental health and wellbeing of men and their whānau in North Canterbury.
Tom's Chop Shop is working with Community Wellbeing North Canterbury Trust to raise funds and awareness of mental health and wellbeing. Especially mental health and wellbeing for men and their whānau.
