26 Year Old Mother Fighting Inflammatory Breast Cancer

My name is Nina, I am a 26 year old mum to my beautiful daughter Kaylee Grace, daughter to Lisa and Peter, sister to Jody, fiancé to Corey, granddaughter and niece and friend/family to many. After 2 years of trying to get pregnant and having 4 miscarriage we finally got pregnant. Around 6 weeks pregnant I found a lump in my right breast. Within a matter of weeks this rapidly grew and become extremely painful. After multiple doctor visits and visits to ED I had a biopsy done. On the 25•5•22 I was told I had Aggressive Inflammatory Breast Cancer that has spread to my lymph nodes. Not only did I have cancer but I would also have to loose my baby we had fought so hard for. I am unable to work my normal 40h week due to being in so much pain and having hospital appointments / treatment. On Wednesday 8•6•22 I start chemotherapy. This isn’t going to be a short ride. I will be having chemotherapy weekly until the end of 2022, then a double mastectomy, radiotherapy and possibly more chemotherapy. This hasn’t been easy for any of us. But I need to fight this and keep strong for my daughter and family. I’m so grateful for my fiancé, family and friends who have been supporting me over the last few weeks and who will continue to support me 💖 As the government gives little to no financial support I have decided to make this page.
