About Wedding Gift

Dear friends and family,

We have received your inquiries regarding our wedding registry. As both of us are established with more than sufficient household goods, we do not expect any wedding presents from our guests. Your presence on our special day to celebrate and witness our commitment to each other and testimony before God is already precious to us. In addition, as God’s called out ones to be sojourners on earth, seeking the heavenly kingdom while living on earth, our goal in life has never been to accumulate material wealth. We wish to offer ourselves and our possession for God’s purpose, in order that our heart would not be entangled.

However if you must, we would appreciate humble offerings of small amounts e.g. $20 per household, which would contribute towards funds for Clyde’s long time dream to go to the full time training - a bible course run by NZTC (http://www.nztc.ac.nz/). God’s calling came to him in 2009, however due to financial lack, career demands and parental expectations, the way to the training all looked very distant. 5 years have gone by, as the environment for attending the course becomes more conducive and God’s calling made more firm, Clyde is now considering to take the big step in giving his 6 months full time to biblical studies. Your offerings to assist making his dream come true would mean so much to him.

If there is any surplus, the funds will be given for the use of the Lord’s workers for the spread of the gospel and the care for the churches throughout the world.
