I was a professional ballet dancer for over 10 years in Europe. I love dancing and upon my return to New Zealand I found a new talent and passion for teaching, passing on my experience and knowledge to dance students and enjoying a career change.

2013 was the year of change for me.

I had a serious car crash when 35 weeks pregnant which left my neck broken in three places. Living for 8 months with a Halo Brace was certainly a challenge with a newborn!

This singular event in my life affected me profoundly in so many ways. I was very lucky that I had been given a second chance at life.

In short, this event motivated me to take the plunge and become a small business owner. I had long dreamed of founding my ballet school and in mid 2014 that dream came true.

I have set up this page as I would dearly love some mirrors and fixed wall barres for the school – all will be removable if the venue was to change. This would not only enhance students’ learning but more importantly, it will lend a real ‘ballet studio’ feel to the church hall. This is where your generosity comes in.
