9 Year Old - Representing NZ All Star Cheerleaders at Hawaii Global Games

My name is Aria Finney, I am a 9-year-old cheerleader who has been selected to travel to Hawaii to compete in the Hawaii Global Games 2024 with All Star Cheerleaders. This is an incredible opportunity to showcase my ability and talent in an international competition.

I have been training and competing at an elite level of cheerleading for 3 years and this has become my hobby and dream to compete against the best of the best.

Representing New Zealand at the Global Games is one of the ways our Nz athletes build experience at a International level, to help on their pathway to Worlds, and one day, the Olympics! As well as being an important preparatory experience, each athlete will learn life lessons & make memories that will stay with them longer than any trophy. So much more than just a competition, athletes feel the pride of walking behind the NZ flag in the Parade of Nations around the Waikiki Lagoon, connect with athletes from different countries in the Opening Ceremony & Cultural Exchange & finish a once in a lifetime evening.
