Kumeu Community Garden was started with the intention of creating a beautiful and productive space for all to enjoy. It is a space that is focused on sustainably growing fresh and organic fruit, herbs and veges for anyone to take and use, with the help of the community! We also believe in finding new and creative ways to bring our community together, and to grow and learn from each other.
All practical work is voluntary and relies on the goodwill of our community to donate their time and efforts to get the mahi done.
Donations of funds is equally important and the money we raise will go towards buying equipment, tools, plants, soil, compost bins, a greenhouse, weedmats, an irrigation system, timber and a shed.
