Meet Micah
Get ready to be amazed by Micah, a 9-year-old powerhouse with a passion for riding! Whether it's BMX or freestyle, this pint-sized girl can conquer it all, with her favorite spot being the Spa Park Jumps. But that's not all - Micah is also a touch rugby pro, a graceful ballet and jazz dancer, and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu whizz! Micah and her brothers create epic videos on their Insta handle, "shred_nauts", showcasing her incredible skills.
Meet Donovan
This young daredevil lives for the thrill of the ride, especially at Spa Park Jumps. But Donovan isn't just about riding, he also helps maintain the jumps to keep them in top condition. When he's not on his bike, he loves basketball, rugby, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. As a member of the "shred_nauts" crew, Donovan creates epic videos while testing out new jumps and tricks, even racing down hills with his buddies.
Micah is currently, World 6. New Zealand 1. North island 1. Oceania 2. Also Lake Taupo Districts Sportsperson of the year.
Donovan is currently, World 16. New Zealand 3. North island 3. Oceania 3.
In 2023, Micah and Donovan participated in the BMX World Championship in Glasgow, Scotland. Despite some stiff competition, both riders gained invaluable experience and forged new friendships with fellow athletes from across the globe. Overall, both riders were proud of their performance and eager to continue competing, with the ultimate goal of achieving a coveted world number 1 ranking.
