A bodybuilder dream

Hi everybody, My name is Dyone (deone). I am a wahine Maori, solo mother of two wonderful teens, with a dream so big as to competing in a IFBB COMPETITION.

(This is my first time ever asking anyone for help on such a large scale and I am very new at this, so I ask kindly that you be patient with me and thank you.)

Body building has been a dream of mine since I was 11. I am 41 years old, living in Auckland where the hustle and bustle is truly a mission.

For the last 10 years I have been diagnosed with endometriosis, which is a condition that affects my ability to function properly in my uterus, creating terrible cysts that sometimes grow up to the size of a tennis ball.

This condition is quite common but in my case the growth levels of my cysts can be life threatening.

And has affected my ability to be productive in a working environment. I myself have almost died from this condition. In fact, it left my mother and father so worried I would die and that’s when I knew, I had to make lifestyle changes.

Step by step I am in recovery from my last surgery in early 2024, where the doctor removed an 11cm cyst from my uterus and slowly but surely I am getting better and stronger.

I still have complications but I’m on a journey to conquer the trauma and crippling depression this has caused.

My goal is to hopefully reverse this horrible condition and make my children proud of my attempt, if ever my body decides to stop working.
