Help Gwel get his broken arm fixed!
International
Hi guys!
If you're one of those people like me who wants to save the world but has no idea how to do it - here is an opportunity to help someone in a huge way today by giving a small amount!
Gwel is a ten year old boy who lives in a remote village in West Papua, Indonesia. He broke his arm badly two weeks ago and it needs to be put back into place. The health service in this village is very limited, and the roads are not good enough for Gwel to get to a town. My parents work there but they lack the medical supplies required to stabilise his fracture. He is already starting to suffer some complications from having a bone out of place for so long and it is very painful for him. Gwel needs to go to the town to get his arm fixed, but this is a $250 round trip in a small airplane. His family is very poor and cannot afford this.
If you're able to help please consider donating to Gwel so that he can get the treatment he needs. All donations very appreciated!
This boy lives in the village where I grew up and my parents still work.
Funds raised will go towards Gwel and his father flying from Kobakma to Wamena and back home again.
