A Dream to Share Malaysian Food, Culture, and Warmth

As a Malaysian family living in New Zealand, we started our small eatery with one simple vision: to create a space where anyone; no matter their background; can feel the warmth of Malaysian hospitality through every plate we serve. It’s about sharing what we grew up with; aromatic curries, smoky stir-fries, rich drinks and passing it on, one meal at a time.

But like many family businesses, our journey hasn’t been without obstacles. We opened our doors just over a year ago with what little we had, worked long hours and poured everything we had into creating something special. But the kitchen equipment is limited. We don’t have the right tools to prepare more dishes or serve popular Malaysian drinks. It’s heartbreaking that we sometimes have to turn down opportunities to grow simply because we don’t have the setup.

That’s why we’re reaching out to you. We’re launching this crowdfunding campaign to raise $24,000 NZD, a goal that would allow us to:

-Add new cooking equipment to expand our menu.

-Set up a new drink station with an espresso and ice shaving machine to add to the menu.

-Improve our kitchen space so we can serve faster, cater for events, and involve more local suppliers.
