Standing with Isi and Ngawai through love and this difficult final journey.
Auckland
Message from Ngawai:
On 21 March 2026, our world changed forever. My husband, Isileli Kamoto, suddenly crashed in a car accident after suffering a brain bleed while he was driving. Since that moment, he has been fighting for his life in hospital. Every day I sit beside him holding his hand, praying and hoping, while watching the man I love slowly fade. The bleeding in his brain has spread, and now his organs are failing one by one. Nothing prepares you for this kind of heartbreak.
Isi is not only a loving husband but also a devoted father, and our whole family is going through this painful journey together.
Before this tragedy, Isi was already bravely battling kidney disease and I had stopped working to care for him full time. We were living week to week and sold most of our belongings just to survive and cover basic needs.
Medical expenses are overwhelming and expected to exceed a few hundred thousand dollars, with daily costs still accumulating at over a couple thousand per day. We also used all our savings on his immigration process, costing over $10,000, leaving us with a declined visa status and nothing in the bank.
I humbly ask our community, friends, and kind-hearted supporters to help with hospital bills and funeral costs, so our family is not left carrying a lifelong financial burden during this heartbreaking time.
Any donation, prayer, or share means more than words can express. Thank you for standing with us and surrounding Isi with love and support. ❤️
I am Isi and Ngawai Kamoto’s sister in law.
Funds will go towards Hospital Bills, hospital related cost (food, parking, petrol) and inevitably funeral costs.
Thank you Rahera! It’s appreciated beyond words!
Thank you so much for your kindness and support!
