A lasting legacy for Millar, Harold and Taylor.

Rini’s family has been absolutely overwhelmed with the loving messages and offers of support and comfort received since her sudden passing on 30 March at the age of just 43. Family and friends were central to Rini’s life, and she would be so overwhelmed to see the love her friends have shown us all.

Rin’s tragic passing will of course most impact her 3 kids, Millar, Taylor and Harold, who she was so proud of and would move mountains for. We are heartbroken for the kids and while we know we will never be able to fill the gap left in their hearts, we will be supporting them over the coming years in every way we can. As part of this we have decided to establish a legacy fund for them that can grow over time and be there to assist them in some way in adulthood.

While we intend to build on this fund as a family over the coming years, we recognise the outpouring of grief at Rini’s loss and the many, many, offers of support and assistance already generously made. We would like to offer Rini’s wide circle of friends the opportunity to also contribute towards the funds that are established for her children.

All funds received will be divided equally between Millar, Taylor and Harold and deposited into an individual investment fund created on their behalf, to be available to them when they are 25 (for more details of the fund see here – https://www.superlife.co.nz/invest-for-children). Until their 25th birthday, Rini’s sisters Pele and Lesley will be guardians of the fund.
