A Mother’s Battle: Urgent Medical Fundraiser

My mother came to New Zealand on a visitor visa to help us through the birth of our child. She’s always been there for us, a constant source of love and support, and we were so grateful to have her here. But shortly after arriving, her health took a sudden turn.

She was hospitalized with a blood clot on her heart valve, a condition that put her life at risk and required immediate treatment. The doctors did everything they could, but the cost of her care has been overwhelming. Despite having insurance, our claim was denied due to her pre-existing condition.

Now, we’re left with a medical bill of over $60,000, which we can’t afford. It’s been incredibly difficult, both emotionally and financially, and I’m reaching out for help.
