The pending May court hearing in France has been extended out to an unknown date, as the French father continues to minimise contact for the daughters to speak freely with their mum in New Zealand . Please help if you can to allow us to keep fighting for the return of the daughters to be with mother.

As the days turn into months, the trauma of not seeing her daughters worsens. The desperation to have regular contact with her daughter is a priority. All this comes at not only an emotional cost to the girls and their mother due to the separation , but a huge legal cost .Please help in any small or large way for legal expenses for the sake of a mother and her daughters to be reunited.
The legal process continues, frustratingly slow , waiting for a French court date to be set set. This is in the hope to have some legal structure so a mother and her daughters (who were torn away by a NZ /Hague legal system with out any orders in place ) can at leat speak regularly. Christmas day without being able to see, let alone speak with her daughters was hard and cruel.

Hard to imagine in the 21st century a mother fighting not just to see her daughters regularly , but to talk to them regularly. This is what is happening. Marias daughter were granted a short visit home to NZ, after court orders were urgently granted. However no formal parenting orders are in place for her daughters to see her again. The girls were so happy to be home with their mother. Legal bills continue as orders are sought. PLEASE help in raising funds for legal costs to ensure Marias daughters are granted the right to see and spend time with their mother in NZ . No daughters should be separated from a loving devoted mother for months on end. No mother should be separated from her daughters who want to be with her. Please help if you can.

I am Mum to two beautiful girls, who have been taken from me in an international custody battle. They are in France, where their father lives, and I am working with NZ and international lawyers to bring them home to New Zealand.
My heart breaks every day for them. It's been 1 year since they were taken away from me, I will never give up my fight to have them rightfully returned to their NZ home and family.
My legal proceedings are expensive overwhelming, cruel and unfair. There is no natural justice for my daughters. Despite the courts acknowledging I am the primary care giver and there was family violence, they still deemed it not a "grave enough" risk to force their return to France . The court even acknowledged the disadvantage I would face in a foreign country with no familial support or employment!
My girls know how much I love them and one day, they will come back to me. In the meantime, I need an army of supporters to help contribute to my international custody action.
This story is something you read about or hear about on the news. But it's my life, it's the agonising reality I wake up to every day. I never for one second ever imagined that this could happen in New Zealand. Can you imagine the anguish of being forcibly separated from your young children?

As the one year date draws closer since the uplift, contact has been minimal. French legal invoices continue and progress is low. Maria continues her battle to gain regular contact with her daughters. As the girls summer school holidays loom ,Maria desperately hopes to have her daughters home, however without parental rights for her, they are not allowed to do so. Legal costs continue to increase to get Maria some parental rights for her and her daughters. Please any donation will assist .

Maria and her children are still apart, thousands of kilometres apart in 2 hemispheres. We still await a French court date . Her daughters miss her so much with minimal contact allowed and struggling to understand why they can't be with their mother. We continue to fight for the girls voices to be heard and reunited with their mum.
The French judicial system is slow to hear the case, therefore as months go by , there is still no formal custody arrangements for Maria to contact her children. Two small girls taken and no set days to speak to their loving mum. A heart ache for any mother let alone children

Thank you to those who have donated to date. A court date is proposed in France, for the end of March , in the hope Maria can have regular phone calls and visits with her daughters . NZ courts provided nothing to ensure this happened. The children are desperate to see their mum, they miss her so much. If you have read the NZ Herald link you will understand the situation and pain . Please help us with raising funds for legal and travel for Maria to see and speak with her young daughters.

The struggle still continues for Maria to have regular contact with her 2 daughters. There are still no parenting orders in place. We continue with French courts and legislation to ensure we get a favourable outcome for the children to see and talk to their mother, their rock, their stability in life , the person who was their primary caregiver . The children can't wait to see their mother , they just don't' know when that will happen. Please help make this happen to ensure the children's future and wishes is all they deserve in their young and vulnerable lives.
