International custody rights and humane custody rights for a mother to be with her daughters.
Nationwide
Imagine this - you flee an abusive relationship, taking your two daughters to the safety of your homeland of New Zealand - only to be subjected to an archaic 1980s Hague Convention and a misogynist legal system that forces the return of children to their abusive fathers and oftentimes, forces the mother to return to her abuser.
Then you’re forced into a protracted international legal battle - you have to pay horrendous legal costs for representation, while the father (not a New Zealand citizen) has all of his legal costs paid for the New Zealand government!
My Story: I am mum to two beautiful girls - taken from me by their father and now stranded in France, where their father lives. I am working with New Zealand and international lawyers, and the Hague Court for Human Rights, to bring them home to New Zealand. They are NZ citizens as I am.
They were forcibly removed from me 22 months ago - read my story .

I am strong,I am propelled by love. My girls know how much I love them ,one day, hopefully soon they will come back to me.
However I need an army of supporters to help contribute to travel to bring them home for summer holidays & to my international custody action. Your contribution will make a world of difference to our family.
Please help us fight to reunite our fractured family
The name of the mum is known as Maria in court cases and Alice in the articles

Family member supporting one mother to another
Travel expenses to bring her daughters home to NZ from France for school holidays to spend time with their mother , family and friends. Also to assist with legal expenses to fight for custody rights to have regular contact with her daughters.
French court decision pending 2 October 2025
A French court case was held mid September, to have NZ court orders reversed so the girls can return home to NZ to be with their mother with NZ as their country of residence . A French court decision will not be made until late December. So wait yet agin .
