Thank You to everybody who has given generously to the Hendra family. They have appreciated every form of kindness extended to them over this time. While many of you are already aware, I must share the sad news that Richard passed way at home surrounded by his children and wife. An amazing service was held late September with a 'full house' of people from the many areas of his life. I appologise for only announcing this now; I just wasn't quite ready. The phrase "life's too short" is spoken at these times. I've found it to be true if you're doing it right. Richard's life was too short. His family continue to be grateful for your ongoing support through this page, and every other form offered.
Again,
Thank you all.
We are now 4 months into our cancer journey. Thank you so much to the generous donors, both through this platform and elsewhere, for the gifts and for the prayer and hands on practical support over this challenging time.
Richard’s most recent scans have shown that his treatment has not been as successful as we hoped. We are now changing up our chemo treatment plan, but carrying on with the immunotherapy with the continued hope that we will see positive outcomes. This will help reduce some of the treatment side effects and allow our family to spend some more quality time together.
