Community Fundraising for a Community Walking/Cycling Track.
Wanaka, Otago
The Hawea True Right Track
We have a new natural style track for walkers and cyclists ready to go and 45% funded with support from Central Lakes Trust & Otago Community Trust. We need your help to fund the other 55%.
We are ready to go and all we need are the funds.
We know it's a big ask but every $ we can raise will get us nearer to building it.
The track is designed to be low key but still accessible to adaptive users.
It will run from the Hawea Dam on the true right of the Hawea River and make a great loop ride or walk with the Hawea River Track.
The Trust fund raises for and develops walking and cycling tracks in the Upper Clutha Basin
The construction of a new low key and natural style walking and cycling track providing improved access to the Hawea River and physical and mental health benefits to its users.
