Gladstone Track Upgrade
Help us raise the final amount needed to make the Gladstone Track a year round pleasure to walk and ride.
Lake Hāwea, Otago
The Trust built the stunning Gladstone Track along the Lake Hawea foreshore in 2011. The use of the track has far exceeded our expectations and as a result, the simple standard to which it was built is no longer suitable, becoming very muddy and slippery after rain and over the winter months.
The Trust has already raised $118,750 of the $135,000 project and is seeking the balance of $16,250 to allow the track upgrade to proceed in the next few months.

The Trust fund raises for and develops walking and cycling tracks in the Upper Clutha Basin
Use of funds
The funds will be used to water table and gravel the track to create a good year round surface for walkers and cyclists. Any funds raised over the target will be used on walking/cycling track development in the Upper Clutha Basin
