We need to cover the relocation expenses of transporting Lomani from Fiji to Christchurch. Lomani will be found a new forever home in NZ.
Canterbury
Meet Lomani.
A 5 month old homeless Fiji puppy who needs a second chance at life.
Lomani was found under a house that we are staying at while on holiday in Fiji.
She was skinny and very malnourished, covered in fleas and ticks, had a belly full of worms and was very shy.
We have taken Lomani in, have given her health treatments and are currently trying to gather funds to bring her back to New Zealand for adoption. Unfortunately time is of the essence as our holiday is ending soon and we need to organise Lomani's transportation costs ASAP.
We are aware that the Animals Fiji Vet clinic is under a lot of strain and so we don't want to add another animal to their overburdened workload.
Funds raised will cover veterinary expenses (travel requirement), MPI costs and quarantine, exporting and permit costs, Flight and possible short term kennel care in Fiji, desexing costs.
Surplus funds will be gifted to Animals Fiji Vet Clinic in Nadi.
Update #2 8 August 2018
After much thought and intense discussion, our family has decided to adopt Lomani into our family.
Even though we weren’t looking for another animal companion we realised that with so many animals in NZ that currently need homes, it wouldn’t be right to add another to the problem.
We are all so very grateful for the amount of support we have received so far in trying to get Lomani back to New Zealand. We hope that you all agree with our decision to adopt her into the Mallard whanau
